create two icons. One for the High
School and one for the Middle School.

- Click
the RIGHT mouse button on the
Windows 95/98 Desktop
- Select
NEW
- Select
SHORTCUT
- Enter
F:\GQWINMS\WGRADE
in the Command Line Box «« This
is for Middle School
Enter F:\GQWINHS\WGRADE in the Command Line
Box «« This is for High
School
- Click
on the NEXT Button
- Click
on the FINISH Button
- You
have now created a shortcut on the desktop for the GradeQuick program.

Macintosh
- Double
Click on the PAULDING.SYS Red
Filing Cabinet.
- Double
Click on the GQMACMS Folder.
- Single
Click and Drag the GradeQuick
Alias icon to the desktop.
- You
have now created an Alias Icon for GradeQuick on the Desktop.
2.
Running and Logging into GradeQuick (Windows / Macintosh)
- Double
Click the Shortcut/Alias that was
created above for GradeQuick.
- When
the programs has loaded it will ask you for a login name.
- Enter
your network login name (Example: H_GOTTKE)

Adding your Class Roster to GradeQuick
(Windows/Macintosh)
- Select
FILE from the top of the window.
- Select
NEW.
- Enter
YOUR Class ID Number in
the box.

Your class ID number is a combination of your Course Number and
Section Number. (Example:
701001) Course
Number (4 Digits) Section Number (2 Digits)
- A
message will appear on your screen with the total number of students added
to the roster.

If you get a blank screen without students you have enter a wrong
number or your class files have not been loaded on the server.
If you continue to have problems please contact Harold Gottke via email
or phone.
- Once
you have a roster on the screen and you need to save the roster to your
personal GradeQuick directory. This
personal directory is set as the default save directory and is only
accessible by you and the network administer.
Name your class rosters something that will be easy for you to
remember. (Example: 91Prd1, 91Prd2,Etc…)
