Keysor Field
Our football field is named to honor Edgar I. Keysor.
Mr. Keysor was a teacher, coach, and principal for the school
district from 1922 until his death in 1955. The pine trees that
grace the north edge of the track were also planted in Mr. Keysor's
memory.
According to the Keysor family, "While teaching was
dad's vocation, sports was his advocation." Edgar Keysor's son,
John, was a member of the football team when the field was dedicated
in the fall of 1956.
The Paulding High School Fight Song
Sing we to Paulding School our high, high, high
Lift up our voices to the sky, sky sky
Never shall we
falter, ne'r our hearts we'll alter
Sing it long and sing it
strong for rah, rah Paulding
Sing we to Paulding School our
high, high, high
Lift up our voices to the sky, sky sky
Loyal all we'll stand or fall for Paulding
Our own dear
high!!
PAULDING RAH, PAULDING RAH! RAH RAH PAULDING!
The Paulding High School Alma Mater
Praise we raise to thee in song,
As the decades
roll.
From the hallowed halls we traveled
Strong in heart
and soul
Paulding High our Alma Mater
Days of old and days
to be.
Weaves the story of our glory,
Now and evermore. |
